Silvio Crisari, a highly skilled and experienced futsal and football coach, has had a successful career spanning over 20 years doing what he loved. Born in Rome, Italy, on December 24th, 1972, Crisari is fluent in Italian, English, Spanish, and French, allowing him to coach all around the world.
Crisari began his coaching career in 2001 and has not stopped since. Throughout the years, he has coached in various regions, winning four championships between 2001 and 2009. In 2010, Crisari’s international experiences began, taking him to Albany in the United States, Kagoshima in Japan, and Guizhou in China.
In 2013, Crisari was in charge of the Football academy As Roma, coaching children aged eight to ten. From 2014 to 2017, he served as an assistant coach for the Lazio Under 18 Region Team and won two best futsal coach awards, as well as two Italy championships with the Lazio Region Futsal Under 18 team and the Lazio Region Under 14 Football team.
In 2017, Crisari became head coach of the National Norway Futsal Team, a position he still holds today. In 2018, he also had the opportunity to work as an assistant coach for the National Norway Football Under 18 team. In 2021, Crisari achieved a major accomplishment as head coach of the National Norway Futsal Team, leading them to win the Nordic Cup. With this achievement, Crisari became the first and the only coach to win back-to-back elite round qualifications for the FIFA World Cup.
In addition to his coaching successes, Crisari is well-educated, holding a UEFA Pro Futsal Coach certification from Coverciano, a UEFA A Football Coach Professional certification from Coverciano, a degree in Psychology and Economics, a Master’s in Big Data Analytics, and a Master’s in Sport and Business Management.
Crisari’s unique background in both futsal and football, as well as his open-minded approach to coaching and learning new languages and cultures, has allowed him to achieve extraordinary results with his teams. He has implemented a methodology of cognitive training for young players, where they practice real game situations and increase the difficulty as they master the exercises. This training focuses on positive reinforcement and continuous stress for the players, encouraging them to reason and find the optimal path.
In 2010, Crisari co-founded “Futsal Solutions,” a company that has implemented this methodology in professional team youth sectors in the United States, China, and Japan.
Crisari’s coaching experiences have not only led to successful results on the field but have also taught him valuable lessons and moral values. His time in Japan, in particular, taught him the importance of resilience in achieving success.
