How Cookies N’ Kicks Grew Their Following of Sneakerheads

Sneakers are a staple in streetwear fashion. They come in all colors, shapes, and sizes, making them an ideal statement piece in any outfit. With the release of limited edition designs and celebrity collaborations, sneakers have become a status symbol and collector’s item. The sneakerhead community has been growing for several years, and social media has made it easier for shoe collectors to find and purchase sneakers. Cookies N’ Kicks is a company that has learned to use social media to increase awareness of their brand and provide content that resonates with sneakerheads of all ages.

Having been established in Los Angeles, Cookies N’ Kicks specializes in buying and reselling shoes. Since opening in April 2019, the company has become one of the biggest sneaker stores in the industry. It branched out into creating content, amassing over two million followers on TikTok. The company also launched its YouTube channel recently, where shoe enthusiasts can get to know the team and watch videos highlighting the things that make collecting sneakers such a fun hobby.

True to its name, the Cookies N’ Kicks team gives a warm welcome to all sneaker enthusiasts who visit their store by giving their customers delicious cookies on the house while providing a wide range of shoes they can choose from. Customers who are interested in Nike, Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White, and Fear of God, among others, are sure to find something they love at the store. Aside from shoes, they also carry clothing from Supreme, Anti Social Social Club, VLONE, Travis Scott, BAPE, and Palace.

In the same way that Cookies N’ Kicks treats its customers like family, the company’s entire team also treats each other as such. This strong and deep-rooted bond is seen on the posts the shoe store shares on their social media platforms. In these posts, viewers can feel that the staff are clearly as passionate as their customers about shoes.

Through the content the team shares, Cookies N’ Kicks creates connections with various people who have a particular interest in sneakers and collecting shoes. Co-founder Eli Hayman shares, “My main objective has always been positively affecting the environment that surrounded my life. Being able to do that with something as big as Cookies N’ Kicks has been very rewarding.”

In the 20 months that Cookies N’ Kicks have been operating, their community of loyal customers has grown. This growth happened through the staff’s dedication to fostering an environment where shoe enthusiasts can come together and have fun talking about the sneakers they love. Eli Hayman says, “Being able to connect with people who have similar interests has brought a lot of good into my life. I’m happy to be able to do what I do.”

Although the COVID-19 pandemic has caused most business establishments to shut down, the crisis has only prompted Cookies N’ Kicks to step up its game. Having tripled its previous years’ revenues in the past few months, the company has shown everyone that it is a force to be reckoned with. “Customer experience is what we prioritize above all else. I think our focus on creating a community for our customers, and social media growth is the reason why we’ve been so successful during a time where most businesses were failing,” said partner Luca Schnetzler.

This company set out to provide sneakerheads with a chance to purchase great shoes. Along the way, they have also created a thriving community aided by connections made on social media. Aside from offering shoes, the company offers a way for others to learn more about sneaker culture. Sneakerheads are always welcome at Cookies N’ Kicks.
