Feeding GA Families Seeks More Partners to Help the Agency With Its Food Delivery Services

In the midst of a ravaging global pandemic, basic services such as food have become scarce in many underprivileged areas. Throughout the United States alone, there is a large variety of communities across the country that are suffering from the lack of basic services. Fortunately, Feeding GA Families is consistently at the forefront of community service, feeding communities with their programs. Despite all of their best efforts, they need more help as the situation is more dire than ever.

Feeding GA Families is a state-licensed non-profit food pantry and community service agency. Throughout the global pandemic, the agency stood at the frontlines, ensuring that their regular recipients do not go hungry as the global pandemic reached its tumultuous peak. They have done a great service all throughout last year.

In 2019, Feeding GA Families served 80,000 individuals and 140,000 in 2020. Its service programs include outreach for students and homeless individuals, and hot meals for community meals. They also have an annual Christmas event that provides toys and basic clothing to children aged zero to 18 years old. Some of the options available for individuals who want to take part in the organization’s advocacies include direct monetary donations, in-kind donations, and Amazon wish list donations.

In 2021, Feeding GA Families faces brand new challenges, and it is seeking out new partnerships to help them with the ongoing battle. In line with this, the agency is seeking out new partners and potential donors to help them provide healthy food options to all in need.

The agency is looking to provide food assistance as soon as possible, but they want to ensure that three important key elements are present, such as providing access to healthier food options like fresh produce, providing safe and nutritious food with dietary restrictions, and making food accessible to homebound individuals like medically at-risk groups and senior citizens.

With the help of their partners, the team behind Feeding GA Families aims to set up a permanent location in the near future. This will enable the agency to reach more underprivileged individuals who are in dire need of help. The organization is open to either purchasing an existing structure or building a new one from scratch.

Feeding GA Families continues to serve communities throughout the raging global pandemic. The agency is showing no signs of stopping any time soon as they hope to serve more and more people in spite of any challenges. The team hopes that more and more partners will join hands with the organization’s advocacy for providing food security across many communities in the United States.

All in all, they hope that more people will understand the potential of their participation in upholding Feeding GA Families’ mission. To know more about Feeding GA Families, make sure to visit its official website. For more live updates, check out the organization’s Instagram account.
