Cosmic Eye Provides High-Quality Photos of your Eyes and Turns them into Art

“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,” a phrase that most people might be familiar with. People might have read it in a book or passed it through word of mouth. Coined by Margaret Wolfe Hungerford in her 1878 novel Molly Bawn, the phrase started to have different meanings throughout the years. One might say that it means that the “beauty” of someone depends on how their eyes look. On the other hand, it can also mean that “beauty” is subjective as we have different perceptions about what’s beautiful or not; hence, it depends on the beholder.

Cosmic Eye took the phrase to a whole different level. A fast-growing photography company based in Los Angeles, Cosmic Eye takes pictures of people’s irises and creates vivid and stark art with them. Then, they print the irises in a selection of materials such as Photo paper designs, acrylic prints, T-shirt prints, etc.

Right at the core of their mission is this statement: “We believe that your eyes are beautiful and unique, and our goal at Cosmic Eye is to capture high definition and magnificent photos of your eye, which can be kept for personal admiration or given as a thoughtful gift.” Cosmic Eye believes that each one of us has innate uniqueness and individuality.

Located in the heart of Hollywood at the Dolby Theatre mall, customers travel from all states and even some from nearby countries to the studio to get their rises photographed. First, they are greeted by a staff member and will be asked to fill out a sign-up form. After doing so, they’re escorted to the photography area and will be asked to put their head inside a tiny box with the camera. “The process of taking a picture of your eye takes only a couple of minutes, where you have to be in person at our studio. After this, the process of retouching/editing raw pictures of one eye usually takes up to 30 minutes.” says the company. “You are welcome to stay in our studio and have a chat with our friendly staff.” they added pleasantly.

As for customers who prefer waiting at home, Cosmic Eye provides an alternative. “If you don’t want to wait, you can buy a digital-only copy of your eye, and we will email you the final version in 24 hours. We also can mail you the printed photo to your physical address. Afterward, you will get the Cosmic eye picture you can enjoy forever!”

Besides the photo studio, Cosmic Eye is regularly present at different events and private parties, such as Melrose Trading Post and Rose Bowl Flea Market. Customers can also book them for private events like birthday parties, weddings, and corporate parties, and during the summer, they do pop-up places in different cities in California.

Their staff’s dedication and the art itself helped them grow faster and get more clientele. So far, they are getting great feedback and reviews from their customers who availed their products through their website. They also run social media accounts that show the process of how they take the “Iris art” photos for their clients. In addition, advanced bookings are available through their website.
