Amidst COVID-19 restrictions and safety measures, New York Fashion Week sprung alive once again. The world witnessed some of America’s brightest stars and influencers come together for a week filled with glamour, design, and beauty as the whole city celebrated fashion and lifestyle.
Speaking on her experience in NYFW, social media influencer and actress Alexandra Creteau only had good words to say. The rising star graced this year’s fashion week along with her husband David Murrietta Jr., a stuntman and actor. He was part of many major movie titles, including Black Widow, Grey’s Anatomy, Weird City, and many others.
The New York Fashion week is a gala of epic proportions held twice a year—one in February and another in September. During this time, many leading fashion companies showcase their latest international fashion collections to buyers, media channels, and the general public in stunning fashion. The event flourishes with catwalks, performances, and exhibits that showcase the best that the fashion world has to offer. New York’s edition is one of the “Big 4,” including Paris, London, and Milan.
Alexandra Creteau attended the Dur Doux Show at Terrace at Spring Studios during the September edition, held on September 9, 2021. The event showcased a collection of affordable luxury lifestyle brands that blends the inventive with the wearable. During the event, Alexandra brushed shoulders with the likes of Miss Universe Alma Andrea Meza Carmona and Miss USA Asya Branch. Alexandra was also a part of “The Talks: The Future of Fashion and Luxury,” the Global Fashion Collective show, the Nolcha Shows, and the Negris Lebrum Runway Show, to name a few. However, one of her highlights was witnessing the works of talented designers who brought concepts to life, more notably the Global Fashion Collective showcase. The event featured four designers, namely Saint Jesus Carlton Jones, Saral Zens, Blue Tamburin, and unusual, who are known for their work that evokes the essence of heritage.
Alexandra hails from Chernivtsi, Ukraine, where she spent most of her time growing up. The actress and influencer holds a degree in Civil and Criminal Law. At twenty-one years old, Alexandra moved to the US to pursue a career in modeling and acting. Today, she has won a vast discography of titles that include films like Bloody Hands, Night of the Naked Dead, and The Perfect Seduction. She has also landed several roles in independent films and directed other smaller productions in the past.
Apart from her movie career, Alexandra is also an influential social media figure with over 320,000 followers on Instagram and YouTube. She shares her YouTube channel ( Dalex Vlogs) with her husband, David. Following the close of New York Fashion Week, Alexandra Creteau now returns to regular programming and is back to creating content while working on new film projects. Alexandra is an artist filled with passion and determination to grow in her craft. She displays the utmost commitment to reaching her goals while meeting those of her clients and partners too. She hopes to grace more events like New York Fashion Week and looks forward to traveling and attending more events over the remainder of the year as the world tunes in to a new version of normalcy post-pandemic.
