From Retail to CPA Excellence
When Odelya first came to the US after serving as an officer of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), she worked in retail while attempting to save up for medical school. However, her plans changed, and she shifted from retail sales to accounting. She took two undergraduate classes in accounting and was captivated by the subject, which led her to pursue this bold new career.

Triumph in the Face of Tribulations
From there, she completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in accounting and joined Deloitte, the world’s leading Big 4 accounting firm. After a year, the COVID-19 pandemic hit, leading to mass layoffs across the industry, including Odelya’s job.
Where others would have seen failure, she saw her layoff as an opportunity. She used this time to complete all four CPA exams and later joined Prager Metis, a top 50 accounting firm in the US. Furthermore, after gaining her CPA license, she co-founded TT CPAS LLC with a friend from PWC. The duo successfully managed the firm for two years before Odelya opted to branch out, starting her own firm, OB CPA, which she has operated ever since, demonstrating entrepreneurial vision and experience.

Odelya and her partner launched TT CPAS LLC at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic as a virtual-first accounting firm. These were not ideal circumstances by any means, as the period presented numerous challenges to businesses of all kinds, but she was eager to tackle these obstacles head-on.
The business became incredibly successful thanks in large part to her unique leadership capabilities, which led to her transitioning to solo ownership of the firm, all while she was seven months pregnant. During this time, she learned new techniques and mastered tools, expanding her expertise and hands-on experience in the field.
