About the new book:

The main characters, Eva and Kurt, have known one another as children. While walking by Kurt’s home on her way to church, Eva sees the curtains flutter. She giggles, knowing Kurt is watching. He’s the first boy to kiss her as they play games at a friend’s tenth birthday party. She kisses him back. After graduating high school together, Eva and Kurt go their separate ways, marry, and have families. Sixty-two years later, Eva (a retired paralegal) and Kurt (a retired Air Force Major) find one another, fall in love, and get married.
