A Miami Beach, Florida, rendezvous saw a gathering of beauty and health influencers, industry executives, and their brands for a two-day live event hosted by NEW YOU. While the NEW YOU Beauty B.A.R. Live Event marked this company’s first Brand University, Awards Ceremony, and star-studded VIP Reception, the NEW YOU Beauty Awards have already gained traction as a premier event in Magic City.

The best in beauty innovation is selected by NEW YOU staffers and skincare experts who review over 600 entries and input from the NEW YOU audience through online consumer voting. The NEW YOU awards ceremony presented 26 winners across 19 categories, including the best in makeup, fragrance, and haircare, at The 1 Hotel South Beach.

This red carpet event was shimmering with celebrity appearances from stars like Ashley Benson, Jamie Chung, Alexa Collins, Cindy Prado, Derek Warburton, Gurus and LA Inquisitor editor, and Alexa Dellanos.

NEW YOU cover star Witney Carson revealed that she is working on a “new skincare line called Active Earth. It’s really, really near and dear to my heart. I actually had skin cancer when I was eighteen years old. And so protecting and taking care of my skin has always been a very big passion of mine.”

A winner from the NEW YOU Beauty Awards night was Ashley Benson, who received the Best Fragrance Innovation Award for her fragrance ASH by Ashley Benson. Sharing advice on how others can hopefully find confidence in themselves, Benson stated, “I think just being truthful to who you are and doing whatever it is that makes you feel confident. I think that’s the only way to feel that.”

And the advice kept pouring out on that beautiful night, with actresses, homemakers, and dancers sharing some of their wisdom. Performing exclusively for NEW YOU that night was Tony Dovolani, who said, “The best tip about being confident is, honestly, believe in yourself. Don’t be afraid to dream and then make them a reality. Never say no to any opportunity and any experience.”

On May 8-9, the Wolves Summit CEE was held in Warsaw. Wolves Summit CEE is a global networking event that brings together startups, investors, and corporations. The Investment and Ecosystem Support Department of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency of Azerbaijan (IDDA) was represented by its head, Agahuseyn Ahmadov, who delivered a keynote speech titled “Innovating Backwards: The Misguided Steps You Need to Avoid.” In his speech, Agahuseyn Ahmadov discussed the challenges and common missteps in the field of innovation, emphasizing the correct paths to follow. He also highlighted the success stories of Azerbaijani startups.

This year, three Azerbaijani startups—Dosty Petcare, Hepard, and Glorri, Inc.—were represented at the Wolves Summit CEE with the support of the IDDA. These startups attracted attention with their innovative projects, capturing the interest of international investors and experts.

Dosty’s Impressive Success

During the event, the Dosty startup won the “Startup Terrace Award” during the pitching session. This victory allows Dosty to enter the Asian market and engage in various meetings with the local ecosystem.

Dosty is a mobile application designed to care for pets. Users can ask any question through the mobile app to understand the difficulties their little friend is experiencing. The startup, co-founded and led by CEO Ayaz Ahmadov, made a significant impression at the Wolves Summit in Poland, winning the Startup Terrace Award.
