Marshall’s time in Mozambique had a profound impact on him, both personally and professionally. Upon returning home, he was hospitalized due to severe health complications brought on by life-threatening hallucinations caused by malaria medication. Despite this, Marshall remained steadfast in his commitment to global outreach and continued his work in

humanitarian causes. This experience further solidified his belief in fighting global poverty and supporting those in need through direct service and long-term initiatives.

Advocacy for Mental Health and Sober Living

In addition to his work abroad, Marshall has consistently advocated for mental health and sober living. His personal experiences, including the tragic loss of his mother to alcohol addiction, have played a significant role in shaping his advocacy efforts. Marshall is vocal about the importance of mental health and recovery, speaking openly about his experiences with addiction recovery programs. His work in this area is closely tied to his Christian faith, as he views addiction and mental health struggles as profoundly connected to spiritual well-being.

Marshall has long advocated for corporate responsibility, and he uses his platform to speak out against practices prioritizing profit over people. He believes that businesses are
